CIE form teacher meeting of new academic year was held on 23rd September, hosted by college Party Secretary Mr. Qu Yunfeng. College dean Mr. Chen Yuchun, all academic mentors, student counselors and form teachers attended the meeting.

At the meeting,the attendees were first informed of the university’s requirements of student safety and the MOE test-free recommended graduate policies. Then, the students’ academic credits of last term, the pass rate of CET 4&6, and the identification of poverty stricken students were reported. The form teachers at the meeting shared their experience in managing students’ life, study, psychology, integrated qualities evaluation and the identification of poverty-stricken students. As workers in the front line of student management, the form teachers also put forward their ideas of how to instruct students in their academic study, how to supervise their behavior and give them psychological support.   

In addition, CIE arranged the student affairs of the new academic year, including the face to face interviews, academic plan instruction, the qualification evaluation of scholarship and the students’ management during National Day holiday.

Last, college dean Mr. Chen Yuchun extended his sincere thanks to all form teachers for their contribution to students management and education service. He also encouraged the teachers to make good used of the educational resources and communication platform of CIE, through which to improve student’s learning ability and to develop students critical thinking, so as to promote the college spirit and unite the college.
