On the evening of 29th April, CIE Youth League lecture themed on Photography and Life was successfully held for the Y2013 Youth League Committee members in classroom N8308, presided over by Researcher Long Qinglin the former Party Secretary of A&F Food Science and Engineering College.

Mr. Long shared his idea of photography that recording the beauty in the life was a good way to appreciate the world. He encouraged the students to enjoy the life from photography. Then he shared his own works of photography and explained how this hobby betters one’s aesthetic judgment, creativity and health, which was illustrated with his own works. He also taught the students some kills of taking photos, including the use of camera, the structure theory of composing a picture, the right spot of taking pictures and how to express personal feelings in the picture. A good life was like to compose a picture with camera, which would be a satisfactory when the advantages were excelled while the shortcomings eliminated. Last, Mr. Long encouraged the students to take active place in the communication of photography, to inspire and get inspired in improving the aesthetic judgment.

The plain but informative lecture of Mr. Long was a real hit to the students, as it furthered their understanding of photography and raised their awareness of pursuit of beauty.
